Supporting National Apprenticeship Week

6th March 2017

It’s National Apprenticeship Week this week and so we feature here our Britcom apprentices.

Meet Frankie, Jaedon, Josh & Aiden… and Harry (not pictured here)

Frankie and Jaedon are both doing a Paint & Body apprenticeship which involves 1 day per week day release at Hull College.  Jaedon is just 7 months into the two year apprenticeship and Frankie is 18 months into the course.

Josh and Aiden are both doing a HGV Technician apprenticeship, which also involves 1 day per week day release.  Aiden is in his first year of the 5 year course, while Josh is in his third year.

Harry is doing a Welding & Fabrication apprenticeship within our Chassis & Bodybuilding Department.  Harry attends Hull College on day release one day per week.  The course is a total of 4 years, and Harry is currently in his second year.  Harry is enjoying the course and he is looking forward to a career in welding & fabricating.

Britcom believe apprenticeships offer both us and the apprentice a great opportunity to develop together, learn new skills and keep bringing in fresh people and approaches into the workplace, and our success rate of keeping apprentices post qualification period is very high.

Frankie, Jaedon, Josh & Aiden are all enjoying their apprenticeships and believe that it is a great way to learn and develop their skills for their future career aspirations.
