4th March 2019
This week is National Apprenticeship Week and what better time to introduce you to our Britcom apprentices.
Harry and Tom both work in our Chassis & Bodybuilding Team and are doing a Welding & Fabrication course. Harry is on level 3 second year and will be fully qualified in October this year through Hull College. Tom joined Britcom last year and is in his first year of the same course but on level 2 via York College.
Jaedon (not pictured) and Tom are part of our Repair & Paint team and are both doing a Bodyshop Apprentice course through Hull College. Jaedon is in his third year, while Tom only joined Britcom in January of this year and is just starting his first year apprenticeship.
And from our Service Team we introduce you to Aiden and Andrew who are our apprentice HGV Technicians attending Hull College. Aiden is on level 3 in his first year, and has just one more year before he qualifies. Andrew is on level 2 and has just started his second year of a total of 3 years.
Last year we also featured Josh who is now fully qualified and integrated into the Service Technicians Team
We believe apprenticeships offer both us and the apprentice a great opportunity to develop together and learn new skills; bringing fresh people and approaches into the work place can only be a good thing for everyone’s future. Our success rate of keeping apprentices post qualification period is very high, and we look forward to watching this group of apprentices flourish and become fully qualified members of the Britcom Team.
