Britcom are delighted to have supported TMWS in the purchase of a defibrillator.
A group of students, wanting to leave a legacy after they leave The Market Weighton School later this year went on a mission in 2019 to raise funds for a defibrillator for the school.
Alongside their own fundraising efforts including a school disco, supermarket bag packing, Britcom staff had two dress down days to help fundraise for the group. Britcom itself also donated an amount of cash to the fund, alongside another couple of companies. This enabled the group achieve their fundraising target, so the defibrillator has been purchased and is now in situ at the school.
