COMMERCIAL VEHICLE PAINT SPRAYER

We are looking for a new person to join the Britcom family.  We require an experienced Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our well established Bodyshop team.  Along with other benefits, you will have the opportunity to earn over £36,000 per annum, based on a conservative estimation of overtime.

Based in Market Weighton we are easily accessible from all the surrounding towns and cities: Hull, York, Pocklington, Beverley, Goole, and Driffield.

The Role and You

  • The role will require you to prepare and spray commercial vehicles using 2 pack paint systems and processes in our EPA compliant low-bake spraybooths.  We have a PPG Turbo Vision paint mixing system and a Touch Mix spectrophotometer to aid colour matching. PPG provide regular updates and training on new products and processes.
  • You should be competent in pre-paint preparation, stripping, filling, masking and spraying.
  • You should be capable of repairing, preparing and painting a wide range of commercial vehicles including cabs, bodies, chassis, trailers, buses, coaches, horseboxes and items of plant using a range of 2 pack paints.
  • You will be flexible, reliable, and punctual.
  • You must be willing to work as part of a team but also be able to use your own initiative.
  • You will have the desire and ability to meet deadlines and high quality standards.
