Paneltex
Britcom Bodyshop is currently painting a fleet of newly built Mercedes Sprinter home delivery vehicles for Fridge Body Builder’s Paneltex based in Hull.
Britcom started the project in January and have recently completed the 100th vehicle.
Britcom were approached by Paneltex as their in-house paintshop were working on other contracts and could not accommodate the capacity.
Paneltex are building around 400 of the units and Britcom are currently painting 4 vehicles per week.
Paneltex are very happy with the service Britcom are providing; Project Manager John Brumhead said “Paneltex and Britcom have developed a good working partnership on this project and I am delighted with the quality and speed of turnaround that Britcom have achieved”.
The project fits neatly into Britcom bodyshop’s programme as they are quick turnaround jobs and easily fit round bigger single paint jobs.
The project looks to continue for a good few months yet.
