HVPS Britcom MAN & Renault Customer Evenings - Kenya
We recently held two customer evenings in Kenya; one in Mombasa and one in Nairobi. Below is a summary of the events, and at the bottom of the page you will find links to presentations of images of the evenings.
The first event was held at Haller Park, Mombasa on Tuesday 29th September 2009 where over 180 people attended; the second was at Havelis, Capital Centre, Nairobi on Thursday 1st October 2009 where a further 220+ people attended. We were delighted to see so much support for HVPS, Britcom, MAN and Renault.
At each event we exhibited a range of MAN and Renault Trucks.
Drinks and bitings were served during the evening whilst our Britcom and HVPS colleagues and visitors from MAN UK & South Africa circulated among the 400 visitors.
There was also a demonstration of MAN Diagnostica by the 
HVPS Service Team which showed the ease of diagnostic access on the trucks and how Diagnostica allows the Service Team to look at parameters within the vehicle such as fault codes and warning instrumentation. For you the customer, this means speedy diagnosis of any service requirements and your truck back on the road quicker!
At around 6.30pm the speeches commenced.
David Odera, MD of HVPS, welcomed everyone to the events and introduced the guests from the UK and South Africa.
Paul Mercer, Joint MD of Britcom International gave a short speech on the importance of the partnership between HVPS, Britcom and MAN.
This was followed by a speech by Des Evans, CEO MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd who talked about the commitment that MAN have to help support HVPS, Britcom and you the operator in the development of MAN trucks within Kenya.
David Odera then gave the Vote Of Thanks and invited Paul, Des and Chris Urwin (Joint MD Of Britcom International) to join him in cutting the traditional cake for everyone to share.
All visitors left with a gift bag to remind them of the evening.
Both events were very successful and we would like to thank those who supported us by attending.
