Integral Subframe

Provides reduced height which makes it ideal for installing EFFER cranes on all terrain vehicles as a lower centre of gravity is achieved
Allows the outriggers beam to be 'ahead of' the turret and provides wider stability area and therefore optimal distribution of the weights on the front tandem
Reduces overall weight as the crane slewing ring replaces the corresponding section of subframe
Installation times are reduced as the majority of the subframe is incorporated into the crane

Box Shaped Structural Steel Work

Strengthens the whole structure against the torsion generated by slewing
Provides more regular distribution of the stresses resting on the structure
Ensures increased resistance to the torsion
Allows overall weight saving by design
Gives easier access to the inner components for maintenance

Welded Steel Basement

The tall basement in relation to the slewing column provides optimal distance between the upper and lower slewing bushes.

Results in a very stable column during slewing, whilst maintaining lower weight of the whole basement

HAWE - Proportional Self-Compensated Controlbank

All EFFER cranes greater than 40 TxM are equipped with this.

Different maneouvres can be performed simultaneously at very reduced speed but at the maximum pressure allowed for each movement

Valve Material

The whole body and internal spools are exclusively made from steel

Gives increased performance as the valves can withstand working pressures of up to 420 bar
Offers better reliability as the steel material can work at a wide range of ambient temperatures
Provides guaranteed leak-free performance thanks to low machine-working tolerances

Body Treatment

All the steel elements are treated with nitriding

Increases resistance to wear
Provides better resistance to corrosion, even when protective paint is omitted

Technical Features

Compensation of each element is operated by pressure and oil flow

Allows the speed of each motion to be set continiously
Unaffected by the load applied
Smoothness of controls is guaranteed
Longer mechanical lever strokes provide a more precise and proportional stroke of the spool inside the element body

Adjustable Bronze Side-Pads on Extensions

Compensates for tolerances at the assembly stage and reduces the side-play between each boom extension down to a minimum
Improves precision of manoeuvres

Decagonal Boom Profile

Unique EFFER design which provides necessary rigidity to the boom structure
Offers a weight saving of up to 61% on that specific part by allowing lighter high tensile materials to be utilised

Symmetrial Location Of Extension Cylinders

Exceptional reaches demand a perfect straightforward boom - this feature is unique to EFFER. Any slight side-deviation by a cylinder thrust is rectified by the opposite, symmetric thrust of the next cylinder

Reduces deviation of cylinders
Gives the operator total confidence and control
Allows the crane to be used for a wider range of jobs where precision is paramount

Floating Extension Cylinders

Each extension cylinder is mounted with a 'floating type support' and allows the cylinders to remain tangential to the boom camber when the boom or fly-jib are fully extended

Guarantees that during retraction or extension, the extensions rod will always stay lined up to the barrel
Prevents early wear of the gaskets

PRO DEC System

Progressive Decelaration System is exclusive to EFFER and is designed so the barrel inner chambers and the cylinder pistons allow automatic, progressive reduction of the rod speed when hitting the end of its stroke.

Results in an unmatched progressive motion of boom extensions
Gives a remarkable steadiness to the load
Offers greater precision while manoeuvering
