Even More 'Reasons for Morrisons'
Britcom are now delivering 10 completed trailers per month as part of the Morrisons rebranding programme.
Earlier in the year, we reported that we were involved in an extensive nationwide programme to repair and rebrand the Morrisons fleet of refrigerated trailers.
At that time, we were turning around 7 trailers per month; as time has progressed, we've managed to improve and optimise our working practices, and working very closely with Morrisons and our suppliers, we are now turning around 10 trailers every month.
This programme is the first major project of its kind that Britcom's body and paint facility has undertaken, and the success and increased work throughput speaks for itself.
'The first month saw a few teething problems' reports Fran Johnson, Bodyshop Manager for Britcom, 'It was a relatively new concept for us to project manage such an extensive programme all the way through, but once the working relationship with Morrisons was established, we were soon up and running and delivering the high quality work expected to agreed timescales. We've managed to increase our productivity and efficiency, to help Morrisons complete the project as quickly as possible. The Britcom team have all pulled together to make this work, for us and for Morrisons.'
