Converting Teamwork Into Success
We are delighted to announce that the first Mercedes Benz Axor left hand drive steering conversion is now complete and ready for action.
Britcom are well known, and very experienced in converting trucks from right hand drive to left hand drive steering, but until now our experience was limited to Renault, DAF, Mercedes Benz Actros and Scania trucks.
Prior to this new venture, we had already built up a reputation for supplying Mercedes Benz Axor Left Hand Drive conversion kits for the Russian market, and so based on this our Parts Department have accumulated a wealth of knowledge; this knowledge has assisted greatly and has resulted in a superb Left Hand Drive conversion, completed to the highest standards using genuine Mercedes Benz parts.
The Team who worked to make this success include:
- the two Technicians who handle the extra c.200m (length of two football pitches) of cabling, to perform a successful conversion - Terry Gibbon and Dean Gilligan
- the Parts Department; all Parts sourced by Dean Cherry, with the research into the required parts done by Dave Postill, on behalf of the Sales Department.
Together, they found the solution.
This provides Britcom with exciting new opportunities in:
- West & Central Africa
- North Africa
- Eastern Europe
- Asia
